Email support@sevenalphalabs.com. We read every message. Ballast is made by a very small team, so a reply can take a day or two. It helps if you include your device, OS version, and the app version from Settings. If something went wrong on a specific leg, name the leg.

What Ballast is

Ballast is a single-player airship game. You do not steer it. The ship flies forward on its own, and the only thing you control is how heavy it is: dump sand to rise, vent gas to sink, and drop cargo when you have taken on more than you can carry. The campaign is fifteen legs across five regions, plus a daily route that changes every day. There are no ads, energy timers, consumables, or proprietary account to create. The first region is free; one optional purchase, Full Unlock, opens the rest of the game forever.

Common questions

I bought Full Unlock and my regions are locked again.

Open Settings inside the game and tap Restore Purchases. Full Unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID or Google account, so it restores on any device you sign in with at no extra charge.

I paid twice or was charged and got nothing.

We never see your card and cannot issue refunds ourselves. On iPhone or iPad, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use Google Play's order history. Email us as well and we will help while the store sorts the money out.

My progress disappeared.

Progress is saved on the device, not on our servers. Deleting the app, or moving to a new phone without a device-level backup, takes the save with it. We cannot recover it because we never had a copy.

The ship will not go up.

That is usually cargo, not a bug. Hold the right half of the screen to dump ballast sand, and remember sand is finite. Tap anywhere to open the hatch and drop your heaviest crate. If you are near the top of the map, thin air reduces lift on purpose.

How do I steer?

You do not. The ship moves forward on its own and the only thing you control is how heavy it is. Hold right to rise, hold left to sink, and tap to drop cargo.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The game itself has no account or server. The network is used only for the store when you buy or restore, and for optional Game Center or Google Play Games leaderboards when you choose to use them.

My controller is not working.

Ballast supports MFi, Xbox, and PlayStation controllers. Pair it in your device's Bluetooth settings first, then relaunch the game. If a button does nothing, tell us which controller you have and we will look.
